2018-19 Winter Break: Day 22 Louisville

(I am going to pretend that I did not just ghost on you for months and still decided to post this on 12th Jan. 2019.)

2019 JAN 11. Louisville: Louisville Slugger Museum. [Airbnb: Bright, Modern Shotgun in Germantown!]

The reason I decided to visit Louisville was because of Louisville Slugger Museum (adult $15.00, including factory tour & museum). Back in the days when I played a lot of softball and baseball (2015–2018), we used wooden bats and sometimes gloves by Louisville Slugger. So when I knew the city was somewhat on my route, I had to go.

2018-19 Winter Break: Day 21 Louisville

Day 21. Nashville – Louisville [Airbnb: Bright, Modern Shotgun in Germantown!]

After getting back to the hostel at 6 am, I did my laundry, hung in the lobby, and chatted with some of my friends. Most of us were leaving today, and it was rather sad that we had so little time together. But hey, yesterday was total bomb.

Day 20. Nashville: Arnold’s Country Kitchen. Legend’s Corner. Tootsies Orchid Lounge. Rippy’s Bar & Grill. WannaB’s Karaoke Bar. Mellow Mushroom. Waffle House. [Nashville Downtown Hostel]

Last night I stayed up past 5 am, and some of my roommates came in after 4 am, so naturally, it was a sleep-in day for all of us.

2018-19 Winter Break: Day 19 Nashville

Day 19. Nashville: The Parthenon. Hattie B’s Hot Chicken. Jack’s Bar-B-Que. [Nashville Downtown Hostel]

Because I seriously drank too much last night, I slept for the longest time ever. 13 hours or so, I believe. I left the hostel around 12:30 pm, and rode a scooter to the Parthenon, arriving in 30 minutes ($5.80 for 32 minutes and 2.8 miles). It was a nice warm day with clear sky and sunlight, very much unlike a winter day.

2018-19 Winter Break: Day 18 Nashville

Day 18. Atlanta – Nashville: Martin’s Bar-B-Que. Acme Feed & Seed. [Nashville Downtown Hostel]

Leaving my Airbnb place at 9 am by Uber with a well-dressed and helpful driver to Greyhound bus station ($6.07 excluding tips), I got to Nashville ($23.50) at around half past 2 pm, terribly delayed.
