This book had me smiling and close to happy tears on various occasions. It is wonderful to have such a compilation of female individuals’ stories in such plain language. Everyone should read about these wonderful people around the world who are willing to fight the system just to pursue their dreams.
But a few small things: the authors got all the Chinese names wrong by thinking the last names were first names, and at least one of the extraordinary women may be fictional. It seemed like the background research was a bit inadequate.
Despite the flaws, this book is definitely heart-warming, educational and motivational. [20 May 2018]
