In short, this book is about wounded characters doing their best to heal each other with love. I sort of feel like doorbells are as useless as landline telephones. I mean, if you’re going to come over, wouldn’t you just text me? And if you don’t have my number to text me, do I even want you coming over?

    Wow.

This book deserves so much more attention! I finished it in less than a day and was left feeling very, very loved. It was written in a similar format as The Perks of Being a Wallflower was, as both protagonists dealt with mental health issues by writing letters to strangers, but that is not to say that these books were at all alike in contents.

I hate when assholes have talent. I want to live in a world where good people rule at everything and shitty people suck at everything.

Okay, I really like this book. It hit home so hard. Also, I am an aching and happy mess hours after finishing the book.

About Me

Lí-hó!! I am Hsinju (they/she), a Taiwanese book blogger, writer, and full-time grad student in engineering. Here, I mainly review books featuring authentically represented LGBTQ+ characters and/or written by LGBTQ+ authors.
