After seeing Emer’s wonderful post of Top Ten Tuesday (TTT), I decided to start participating, too. TTT is currently hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl, and each Tuesday, we get a prompt to talk about 10 books.
This week’s topic: books with colors in the titles.
Instead of randomly choosing 10 books that fit the theme, I want to use this chance to bring light to lesser known books. So, I am doing my best to only include those published by indie publishers this week. And by indie, I really mean LGBTQ+ literature publishing houses and self-published works. All listed books are sapphic.
Here are 5 books I have read (that I really liked) and 5 more on my TBR.
Read
Sylver and Gold by Michelle Larkin [review on GR]

There. My 10—no, 12—books with colors in the titles! I should emphasize that all these books are sapphic and either self-published or published by independent publishing houses.
Thanks for reading! Now excuse me as I go back to read some more.
Have you read any of these books? Comment what you think, or talk about any other books with colors in the titles!

omg I love this list! Bookmarking to look at it closer but your choice of criteria is brilliant. And people are saying there aren’t many sapphic books, look at how many there are with such a narrow theme! I’m very interested in Silver Ravens

I really need to look up Blackout again — I briefly had it in a shopping cart during a spree and reluctantly took it out, but I should probably put it on my wishlist or something. It sounds fun! 🙂 Good list. 😀
Hsinju
Blackout has been on my Kindle for about a month and I really need to start reading it! Hope you’ll enjoy it if you decide to read it. Thank you!
Lark @ The Bookwyrm's Hoard
Sylver and Gold and Silver Raven both sound intriguing! I like your idea of highlighting indie-published books as well as F/F relationships, since neither get a lot of attention in the book blogging world as a whole.
Hsinju
Sylver and Gold is really good (most of friends who review f/f fiction on GR rated it 5 stars), and Silver Raven is subjectively enjoyable.
F/f novels definitely deserve more attention from bloggers as do many other #ownvoices works, especially indie ones. Thank you so much, Lark!

Great twist on this week’s topic! Silver Ravens sounds interesting; I’m always on the lookout for books featuring Welsh mythology.

Thank you, Jess! Silver Ravens is a nice low fantasy with some Welsh mythology. If you end up reading it, I hope you’ll enjoy it, too!
