Did I just skipped two months and went from a July wrap-up to an October one? Yes. Will I ever post about all those lost months? I hope so. I feel like 2020 is so weird I am living multiple timelines at the same time, a few of which has yet to catch up and realize it’s already November. Given that I study space science (sort of), let’s pretend I’m floating aimlessly in space, devoid of all sense of time.
I buddy read for the first time in October! YAYYY! Shout out to E. @ Local Bee Hunter’s Nook for being my first ever reading buddy! Also big thanks to Cas (IG: @casscannot.read), Laura (IG: @lezreadalot), Althea @ Althea Is Reading, and Brittany (Twitter: @britthebookguru) for reading with me.
I also participated in a readathon for the first time! It was October’s Sapphic Saturday Readathon hosted by Sapphic Saturdays. I had so much fun I cannot wait for the next one in November!

Looks like a great month! For all the bookclubs and challenges I do, I’ve never done a buddy read it, I think I’d worry too much about letting a specifc person down if I don’t read when I’m suppossed to.

It was, and thank you! That’s kind of true but I’m sure they’ll be understanding. 😊 When I buddy read, we check in with each other daily (if we’re not doing it live) so that we can be flexible with the reading if something comes up or if one of us doesn’t feel like reading that day.

Yay to buddy reads! I really want to try buddy reading. I sometimes participate in read-a-longs with a lot of people but I’ve never read with only one bookworm. It must be nice!
Looks like you had a nice reading month!

Buddy reading is pretty fun, especially with books that allow more conversations and discussions! I’d love to buddy read with you, Fleur, but your tbr this month didn’t match mine. 😢 Maybe next time? Feel free to hit me up, too! 😊 And thank you!!

No problem! I have no clue what I’m going to read after I finish my own books, but I might DM you with books I would like to read from the library and maybe we will both have a book from that list! Or you can DM me too with your December plans if you want to!

Yesss!! 💕 I think I’m planning for my reading for the rest of the year in about two weeks when I’m on school break, and I’ll let you know what I’d like to read then! But you’re more than welcome to DM me before that happens. 😊

I have an unplanned tbr up today, so maybe we’ll have something in common! 😀

That looks like a pretty great month overall! (Any month that includes Becky is great in my eyes… yes I did just click straight to your Becky review from here lol!) I’m so glad you enjoyed your first buddy read. They can really be lots of fun. Here’s to an awesome November Hsinju ❤️💙💚💛
