WLW Wednesday is a bookish meme among bloggers who read sapphic books. Hosted by Sasha and Amber @ Sasha and Amber Read, we are encouraged share our recent wlw/sapphic reads every week or two.
How I had read so many books for my last WLW Wednesday post I do not know. These past two weeks, I’ve read four sapphic books (three adult romance and one adult sci-fi/fantasy).

A Heart to Trust by A.L. Brooks
Finished on 26 Oct 2020. Review on Goodreads.
I loved Dare to Love (review), Brooks’s last book. A lot of people loved A Heart to Trust, too, and it is no doubt well-written, but it didn’t work as well for me.
Gideon the Ninth (The Locked Tomb Trilogy #1) Tamsyn Muir
Finished on 27 Oct 2020. Initial thoughts on Goodreads. Review to come.
I started reading this on October ninth as a joke. Though I am actually still a bit confused about the plot, I love everything about the wacky writing! And of course, nothing beats Gideon’s huge biceps!
Two to Tangle (A Tangle Valley Romance #2) Melissa Brayden
Finished on 31 Oct 2020. Initial thoughts on Goodreads. Review to come.
This is my ninth Brayden book. A Tangle Valley Romance has quickly became my favorite contemporary romance series and it’s not just because of the wine. I loved the first book Entangled (review), and yet I may have loved this one even more.
No After You (Celebrities #1) Nicole Pyland
Finished on 3 Nov 2020. Review to come.
This is my (also) ninth full length Pyland book. It’s a very sweet and angstless double toaster-oven celebrity romance, and I cannot wait to read the second book in the series for Lennox’s story.

Nice list! I gotta ask “double toaster oven celebrity”? I’ve never heard, what’s it mean?

Thank you!! 💕 I kind of combined toaster-oven romance (a previously straight-identifying woman realizes she’s not straight after all) and celebrity romance (one or both characters are celebrities in the story). 😅 For No After You, both characters thought themselves to be straight (until they met each other), and one is a pop star while the other a super model. So I call it a double toaster-oven celebrity romance. 😊
