I have seen Wright in some wlw/lesfic virtual event but yet to read her works. This one is a prequel to one of her series and seems to be able to read as a standalone.
The Four Profound Weaves (Birdverse) by R.B. Lemberg

So many of my friends have written beautiful reviews of this novella that I realized I need to read it. It’s completely queer and the author is a bigender immigrant. Art is often inseparable from its creator and I cannot wait to see what this book brings.

A Pinch of Salt (The Towers of the Earth #0.1) by Nita Round

This is a novella prequel to a series my Goodreads friend Lex absolutely love. Her wonderful reviews have convinced me to try out the series—at least this prequel—and I’m pretty sure I am going to love it as well.
The Falcon’s Heart by Diana Green

This is another book I totally got because of the aforementioned Lex and I’m sure the story… cannot be judged by its cover.

Good choices! I’ve read The Four Profound Weaves and it has the most amazing magic system, I just loved that part of the magic system is actually focused on transitioning and changing your body, it’s written so beautifully! I also really want to read Thorn too, sapphic Beauty and the Beast is all I need to know!

Oh yes, you are definitely one of the friends with a beautiful review for The Four Profound Weaves! I am also recently frustrated with the incredibly cis and/or gender binary world in many SFFs so I am extra excited to read it!
